Dwarka: On 22nd October, Dwarka Forum governing body meeting was held with the Delhi Jal Board at their office in Dwarka sector 20. The meeting was attended by S. N. Prasad, Executive Engineer of Delhi Jal Board, R. S. Meena, Assistant Executive Engineer. Anita Jain Zonal Revenue Officer and Sushil Bhasin, Zonal Engineer were also present in the meeting. Dwarka Forum (DF) handed over a letter to the Officials of Delhi Jal Board (DJB) on various issues of Dwarka Sub-City pertaining to the Delhi Jal Board. Dwarka Forum discussed several civic issues ranging from timings of water supply in various Dwarka sectors, choked sewer lines and replacement of some rusted pipes of the waterline. The matter regarding low water pressure in some societies was also discussed in detail. In this regard, DJB informed that action is being taken on priority. Dwarka Forum also discussed some issues related to the Revenue Department of DJB, ranging from rebate policy, issue of water Bills without installation of water meters and current procedure for new water connections etc.
